I’m an early-career Ph.D. chemist that is excited by innovation, investing, and value creation.
I grew up in rural North Carolina and went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemistry at UW–Madison (2021–2025). My graduate research was a blend of physical chemistry and biochemistry, where I applied ultrafast two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy to biological systems. I deeply value and remain grateful for my academic mentors: Prof. Martin Zanni, Prof. Gary Pielak, and Prof. Brooke Christian.
Beyond the lab, I’ve worked with Wisconsin Investment Partners and 2Flo Ventures to diligence and advise investments in early-stage biotechnology companies. Alongside this, I act as an independent consultant, supporting biotech startups with operations, strategy, and drug development.
I spend my free time going on adventures with my partner, hands-on projects (such as machining with my home-built CNC), and training in running, weightlifting, and billiards. In quieter moments, I enjoy reading, learning about emerging technologies, and studying companies.
I love meeting new people and continuously learning. If you’d like to connect, please don’t hesitate to say hello!
